Tonga, Tonga, Tonga, Tonga Hut
Last night I decided to check out the Tonga Hut in North Hollywood. Reign and Joe went there recently, and I've read quite a few reviews on Tiki Central...so it was time. What a great place...very tiki! The owner, Jeremy, is a real nice guy. He purchased to place just over a year ago and is restoring the place to it's former 50's/60's glory. There are tiki bar stools, tikis inside and out, and a beautiful working fountain behind the bar. The drink menu is a good size and growing larger. I recommend the Tonga Lei, the drink invented especially for them...(perfected on the 60th design)!
I brought the tiki gods an offering of The Enchanted Tiki Room movie, which they played all night. Lovely people, great time!

See, this is what "John from Cincinnati" should have been about! Just good fun, surfing, drinking, and Tiki. And Devon, dang it. Hey HBO, where's Devon? Probably over at Showtime with all the good shows...
