Tonga, Tonga, Tonga, Tonga Hut

Last night I decided to check out the Tonga Hut in North Hollywood. Reign and Joe went there recently, and I've read quite a few reviews on Tiki Central...so it was time. What a great place...very tiki! The owner, Jeremy, is a real nice guy. He purchased to place just over a year ago and is restoring the place to it's former 50's/60's glory. There are tiki bar stools, tikis inside and out, and a beautiful working fountain behind the bar. The drink menu is a good size and growing larger. I recommend the Tonga Lei, the drink invented especially for them...(perfected on the 60th design)!

I brought the tiki gods an offering of The Enchanted Tiki Room movie, which they played all night. Lovely people, great time!

King Tet and "Macabre Pair of Shorts"

It has come to my attention that a great musical oversight has occurred. Eric Van der Wyk, the composer known as King Tet, has not been given proper credit for his musical compositions in "Macabre Pair of Shorts". You see, the club scene in the "Vamps" scene would simply not be the same without King Tet's music.

I have informed the imDb to add his name to the credits and I urge all of you to do the same. Eric's a great guy, loves the movie and is proud to be a part of it. Let's help him out with the red tape of the new and "improved" imDb police.
